Our region got blindsided by Hurricane Irene - we were not ever supposed to be in it's path; only some high winds, maybe flooding. Well, homes are gone, roads washed away, homes and lives shattered. Anyone who has lived through a disaster knows of what I am saying. My home sustained major damage and it will be a long slog to get ready for the Adk Winter, much less get back to whatever "normal" might be.
That said, a relief concert has been organized and will feature lots of musicians from the region - all kinds of groups and music. Please come and help support relief efforts, both financially and community spirit-wise. Hope to see you there!
